What Is a Facebook Post ID?
A Facebook post ID is the unique numeric identifier assigned to every piece of content on Facebook — posts, photos, videos, reels, and group posts. You need the post ID to use the Facebook Graph API, embed posts, track engagement, or use any third-party Facebook tool.
Facebook exposes post IDs in URLs in several different formats. This tool understands all
of them, including the newer pfbid share tokens introduced in 2022, and decodes
them back to the underlying numeric ID wherever possible.
Supported URL Formats
