FB Picker started with a small, annoying problem. Anyone who has run a Facebook giveaway knows the drill: a post gets a few hundred comments, and picking a winner turns into a mess of screenshots, half-counted entries, and the nagging worry that someone will accuse you of rigging it. We built fbPicker so that never has to happen again.
At its simplest, FB Picker is a Facebook comment picker for giveaways and contests. You give it a post, it reads the comments, and it draws a random winner in front of you. That's the whole idea. We spent our energy making that one job fast, clear, and impossible to argue with, instead of bolting on features nobody asked for.
Why we made it
Most people running giveaways aren't marketing agencies. They're bakeries, gyms, artists, streamers, local shops, and community pages trying to grow an audience without spending a fortune. Those people don't have time to export comments into a spreadsheet and write a random-number formula. They want to press a button and trust the result.
The old ways of doing this were either tedious or shady. Counting by hand takes forever and invites mistakes. Some "random" tools are vague about how they choose, which makes followers suspicious. We wanted something a shop owner could use on their phone between customers, and something their audience would believe.
How FB Picker works
You copy the URL of your Facebook post and paste it in. FB Picker pulls the comments and puts them in front of you. You decide the rules: one winner or several, whether duplicate comments from the same person count once or many times, whether a reply counts as an entry, and whether entrants need to tag a friend or use a certain word or hashtag. Then you run the draw.
The pick happens in the open. You can watch the comments shuffle and land on a winner, so there's no black box and nothing to explain away. If the first person doesn't respond, pull a backup winner in a couple of clicks. When you're done, you have a clear record of who won and what they commented.
Fairness is the point
A giveaway only works if people trust it. That trust is the actual product here, not the software. So FB Picker treats every eligible comment equally. It doesn't quietly favour accounts, it doesn't reorder anything to nudge a result, and it doesn't hide how the choice was made. If you set a rule, the tool follows it and shows you the entries that qualified. You can run the draw on a live stream or record your screen, and the outcome will hold up to scrutiny.
Who uses it
Our users run the range from first-time giveaway hosts to pages with big followings. A florist gives away a bouquet every Friday. A gaming streamer picks a winner during a live session. A nonprofit raffles off donated items. A clothing brand runs a tag-a-friend contest to reach new people. The common thread is that they all need a fair result they can show their audience, without turning it into an afternoon of admin.
Free trials, then simple plans
We don't think you should have to pay to find out whether a tool works for you. That's why FB Picker includes 3 free trials. Run a real draw, see the result, decide for yourself. If you keep running giveaways and want unlimited draws plus the full set of filters, our plans are laid out plainly on the pricing page. No surprise charges, no fine print designed to trip you up.
Our approach
We keep the product focused. Every time we consider adding something, we ask whether it helps someone run a fair, believable draw faster. If it doesn't, it stays out. That discipline is why FB Picker stays quick to learn and quick to use, even if you've never touched a giveaway tool before.
We also listen. A lot of what FB Picker does today came from people writing in to tell us what tripped them up or what they wished it could do. That feedback shapes the roadmap more than any internal wishlist.
